I'm brand new to Pole, which class is best for me?

We have classes specifically for New Starters, where you'll be amongst others in the same boat as you! New Starters are also welcome to our "Beginner-Intermediate" and "Mixed Level" classes, where everyone will be working at their own level, however sometimes you may find the others in class have had a lot more experience than you, which is no problem at all as long as you don't mind that! Everyone is lovely and we'll make sure you're well looked after no matter which class you attend!

What should I wear?

Best thing to wear for pole classes is shorts and vest top, as bare skin helps you grip the pole, but whatever you feel comfortable in is absolutely fine! And most of us prefer bare feet, but pumps or trainers can be worn. For aerial leggings are best, and tighter fitting clothes that won't slip, and socks are more comfortable than bare feet for beginners- no shoes! No jewellery, moisturisers or creams for pole or aerial classes!

Do I have to sign up for a Membership or Course, or can I pay as I go?

You can Pay as You Go for all our classes, no need to book a long course at all, but monthly memberships and Class Packs are available to save money!

How much are the classes?

Pole classes are £8, Aerial Classes are £9, we have other classes available at various prices so head to the Timetable page and select your class to check the price! See the Memberships tab for more savings!

I'm worried I'm too unfit/inflexible/old/big/small to come along?

We all feel a bit like this at first. I was the most inflexible, unfit person ever when I started! We're all different shapes and sizes, from different backgrounds, Polefire is an amazing safe space where everyone is welcome, and you'll be amazed how quickly you'll build strength! Obvs check with a doctor if there are any health issues, but I passionately believe pole is for EVERYONE - as long as you're prepared to put the work in!!

How do I sign up for Yoga?

All the Polefire Team totally understand, and all remember, just how terrifying it can be going somewhere new and doing something completely different for the first time! We aim to have an environment that is as non-intimidating and welcoming as possible! Everyone who comes is so lovely and helpful so you'll quickly be put at ease.

All classes, jams, courses and workshops must be paid for in full in advance in order to book your space. Once you have booked we can rearrange your class time as long as you contact us via our booking system before twenty four hours of your class. Any cancellations/no shows within 24 hours before your class there will be strictly no refunds, no exceptions. These terms also apply if you are on monthly membership schemes.
